    Lakefield rimfire rifles

It is my understanding that the Lakefield rifles were produced in Canada and bought out by Savage in the mid-90's. Can anyone tell me if the Savage line of rimfires (Mark I, Mark II, and the 93 series) use the same stock inletting?

I have seen a few Lakefield .22's and they look very similar to the rifles that Savage puts out now. I'm just wondering if one could put a newer Boyd's stock or even newer Savage rimfire factory stocks onto those Lakefield rifles?

I have the Lakefield 91T Target and it is the same as my Mark II. It also uses the same msgazines as the Savage.
