If the price is right you just can't go wrong with a Savage.
My LGS has an older savage model 10. It is a 308, and has a wooden stock. Looks like it has the accutrigger. It has an internal magazine, and has (what I assume to be the package Burris or bushnell)scope on it.
Price seems to be right, it also has a Harris bipod, which is nice, but no deal breaker for me.
Oh, and it is left handed.
Don't know if this is a good gun to get. I can't seem to find any info on savages without the detachable magazine... Any help is appreciated.
thanks, ad

Burris is far from package, Bushnell could be.
Accutrigger would not be what I would call "older".

It must be bushnell... It began with a "b"... It's $400 does that sound like a good price?
I was looking at two of my LGS's yesterday and all the package 10/110's were going for $279-$320.
not an "I really like my relatives" special price.

The local gun shop is not one of my relatives....
$400 is alittle on the high side for a used one
LGS here has the synthetic stock package rifles for $275 new.
