BELL AND CARLSON STOCK accuracy shot now

    Got a B AND C stock the varmint,tatical model

    but this on my rifle,mod 10 varminter 22 250...

Accuracy went to hell....Barrel is floating good
can slide paper all the way down..Looks to be
a snug fit around the action...Should the tang
be floated some or leave that alone....I aint
happy with it...What do you think I should do? John

The tang safety shouldn't be binding when you torque the action to the stock. If the tang doesn't free float it could cause the rear end of the receiver to bind when torquing the action to the stock. Binding can also cause the rear end of the receiver to kick left or right of center.
