    I Jumped On The Savage Train


    I was in need of an affordable tack driving .22Lr to do some rabbit sniping & some plinking at the range. I had heard good things about the Mark ll & decided to find out for myself.
    I went with the Mark ll BVTS & I must say it is impressive, this little .22's capability far excedes my shooting ability
    Here are a couple pic's from the first week ;D

    what scope and what size rings did you use,i have same rifle to set up .vince

    The scope is a Simmons 3x9x40, not sure what size rings, just something I had in the cabinet.

    thanks fir the info, is your barrel straight in the stock at fore end?mine is way over to the right side of the stock.

    Yes it is centered in the forstock

    Thanks for the pics and post. Savage is my favorite after 50 years hunting/shooting. Centerfire or rimfire it is Savage for me.
