I'm looking at one locally at Jay's. I really like a short, handy, and light rifle and this seems to fit the bill. I also like the idea of the muzzle brake for occasionaly use (when I won't deafen bystanders at the range) and I can shut it off otherwise. The synthetic stock seems a little flimsy as I can twist the forearm until it touches the barrel on either side. This is a minor point unless the stock lets the action move in it and this affects the accuracy. But then again, Savage's are known for their accuracy, especially with the accutrigger which this one has. Oh, and it's in 7-08, one of my favorite calibers. Any feedback you have would be nice. Thanks. 44 Man
