Stopped back in today to drop off the barrel wrench and my Smith told me " the guy building that .218 bee hangs out on one of them computer board things" Soooo which one of you guys is the guilty party?
Went to my gunsmith today to drop off a stock and borrow a barrel wrench. Knowing I am a Savage nut he showed me a project he had just taken in.
It was a brand new Savage target action and an unchambered Krieger bull barrel with flutes. It is going to be a .218 Bee. Was a pretty cool looking build, although it seemed like a lot of action and barrel for not much of a round. On a side note I came home with the wrench and pulled my first barrel! I was lucky and got one of the ones that came right off. So now I have a RUM action stripped and ready to be turned into something big and loud, and a factory barrel and stock to sell.
