New to forum with new rimfire butold shooter

Hello everyone! I just found this fourm so I'm new here, but have been shooting over 50 years. I just retired a few months ago and know that I have more time I decided to spend more time with my guns. I like punching holes in paper with rimfires although I do go to South dakota once a year PD shooting.I bought a new savage MK II TRR SR and I sent it to a gunsmith and having tuned up.Does anyone have one and if so how well did it shoot out of the box? Any info would be great, thanks.

    Welcome to the site
The mkll is usually a very accurate 22
I have a BRJ that is an excellent shooter, sorry I do not have the model you got but I am sure it will be a shooter
I would suggest that you get several kinds of target ammo and try to see which shoots best in you gun
Mine likes the wolf match extra
