Savage 6.5x284 build (need info)

Hello. I'm new to this forum. First off, I have read a lot of threads on here and it is a great site. That being said I am in the process of building from a 110 in 30-06 to a 6.5x 284 Norma. Just received word from Shilen that my new barrel will ship next week! I really wasn't expecting it for another two months. So here's what I'm needing. Someone in the Portland area that can swap out the barrel. I don't have the tools. This is for me a one time deal so if someone can help or knows someone who can I would greatly appreciate any information. The rifle is a 110 with standered thread and barrel nut. Thanks. Dan

Just spend the 40 bucks for a barrel nut wrench and do it your self. Once you see how easy it really is this will not be a one time deal.

I think she said 340 plus shipping. SS is like 375 ? Mine is blue. Can't wait for it to here. They said it just needed to be blued(Friday) and then it would be shipped.
