Lots of different thoughts and concerns about it.
However I have had very good luck with it in the 243.
It is harder to size, also trim. IF the case prep was poor from the factory, then the plating can cause issues; as it is harder and can tear-up the bullet.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

I'll just mirror the above about it being harder to size and trim, so long as you chamfer it fine it shouldn't tear up the bullet, but that applies for any brass. I currently have a few nickel plated pieces of brass for my 300WSM and 7mm-08 and didn't notice a huge difference loading for them.

Some thing people believe about nickel plated brass is that it doesn't last as long as regular brass, right now all my nickel plated brass is on their 4th loading (same as other brass) and is just fine, they've already outlasted my federal brass (loose primer pockets) and are still going strong.

Nickle plated brass is always on sale somewhere...ever wonder why?
Because it's seconds. They nickle plate it to cover cosmetic defects.

I don't think you can anneal nickel plated brass. I have used Federal plated brass in the past and they only went 4 or 5 loadings before the necks started splitting.
    Best regards,
