    Boo Boo powder charge.

I know I should dump this and I would of allready if I didnt have input. I reloaded nosler 55 ballistic tip boat tails useing 35 gr of imr 4064. The max for this combo from nosler website is 34.5. My sierra 55 gr boatail is good to go in this charge but as said the nosler with same weight bullet as sierra is calling 34.5 max. Thanks for input and only reloaded 5 of them of this charge. Thanks,Dan

Why not load up some more with the same bullet and work up to that 35g charge......you might find something the rifle really likes.

If we are talking about the 22-250, Hodgdon shows a max of 36.3g IMR 4064 with a 55g Speer SP

Not sure why you only loaded five but if it were me, I'd either load more (work up) to test or pull 'em.

I was thinking 22-250 and my books show the same with the speer, 36.3gr

If it is the .22-250 QuickLOAD estimates that combo only runs 57,784psi. SAAMI MAP is 65,000psi.

I wouldn't be overly concerned but a load work up to that level would be in order to alleviate all concern

Sorry,Yes for 22-250. Nosler says 34.5 max load with nosler 55 gr BT and imr 4064. Thank you, Dan

Nosler also says that H414 and Win 760 are different powders >
What did your gun tell you max was?
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
