    A slimmer short action stock for lefty's?


    Anyone know of a slimmer stock for the new centerfeed Savage short actions for us lefty's?

    Slimmer in what area? You can't really slim up the stocks much in the action area without compromising strength. Anywhere else though is fair game (grip, forend, butt) and easily taken care of with some sanding if it's a wood stock.

    It's the action area that bugs me. I'd be willing to go to a single stack, blind magazine and less capacity for a slimmer stock. Single stack, centerfeed, controlled round feed for standard calibers, (like my 250-3000). Ah, wouldn't that be make a nice walking, hunting rig?
