    firing pin bushing


    i have heard about getting your firing pin hole closed up tighter around the pin with a bushing or something like that so the primer doesn't splash so much. who does this.

    Any competent gunsmith can do this.
    It's a common procedure.

    It's even easier on a Savage due to the removable bolthead.
