I posted awhile back about the 3 local guns and now it's down to 2, the .308 was sold. I'm thinking about the .270 and wondering if there will be any feeding issues or other problems if I install a .308 barrel down the road.

I have a 260AI on a long action that started life as a 270, no problems. With a long action you have all the bases covered and don't have to worry about seating depths with heavy bullets. I understand you sometimes have to customize the magazine lips, but I have not had to.
If I was shooting something that might eat me, I would use a controlled feed bolt gun or have a PH I really trusted.
