What action to build a .260 or 6.5 creedmore is needed...

Just started researching this, thought I'd ask here first.

Looking now for used Sav or Stevens rifles localy.

I know what tools and steps needed, just want to make sure of the proper action to get, I belive SA is the one?

Looking to put on new barrel, stock, trigger, etc...

    Thanks, T

Yeah the .260 and the Creedmoor should fit in a SA just fine.

I built my 260 Ackley on a long action just so later on down the road when its time to rebarrel i wont have any action limitations and can build something in a long action chambering. The 260 feeds just fine from the long action magazine. Just my two cents.
