    Recently bought an 87A for $80. Wanting to know any history y'all know.

    Identical to the Savage 6A. Good price on the Stevens. Hope you have fun with it.

    One of my Favorite Savage,
    Savage mades these with many diferent names and numbers as mentioned the 6a is the same gun.
    Some other models
    Stevens 87
    Ward's Westerfield 87
    Westernauto 135
    Sears Ranger 101

    I also belive some gun was made under the firestone name.
