Wheeler Engineering Barrel Nut Wrench for Savage

The Wheeler Barrel Nut Wrench is on back order at most of common places (Midway, Optics Planet, Grafs, Brownells, etc.) Has anyone purchase one of these lately? Where did you but if from? Looks like 6-8 weeks lead time at most places.

I have them in stock. The good news is that our Barrel Nut Wrenches are not Wheeler Wrenches. They are in stock for $25.00 + S&H to your door.

I have one of Jim's wrenches, and I really like the 1/2" ratchet holes. To crack the factory nut on a blued action, I needed my breaker bar and fat rump on it.

DEfinately call Jim at NorthlanderShooterSupply. Its a superior wrench, much better than a Wheeler. Wheeler is a bit too soft a steel for me.

Jim - let me see if I can cancel my order with Gun Shack. If I can, I'll call you and order one from you. I should have taken care of this when I purchased my new barrel from you, but wasn't thinking.

Guess I'm gonna have to call him too. I can't find mine! Oh well I need to talk with him about a stock if I decide to work on my 300wm! Good to know, as I was just looking at the new midway flyer that shows em on sale! Thanks, Jason
