All aftermarket trigger makers send them with instructions. No gunsmith needed.

Re: want to replace a trigger

see with triggers i have no clue.
this is the first after market trigger i have ever thought about.

over winter i rebarreled a older 110 with a ER Shaw 24" 1n9 ss barrel caliber 260rem and put it in a boyds stock. and i have never like the trigger. and in trying to make this gun a tack driver im trying o do everything i can. i know that the barrel is not the best on the market and there are better stock's out there. but i like the choices i made.

so now i want a trigger job.
and a longer bolt handle. from SSS

also do the fluted bolts do anything for proformance or do they just look pretty?
becasue i like the fish net bolts from SSS

i will take any and all advise.

+ 1 on the longer bolt handle
the fluted bolt body does not help
    but sure does look good
( i have them on all of mine)

Cooker, if you are taking off a three screw trigger (you said it was an older 110), I'll be more than happy to buy it from you if you don't want it. You have some smart people giving you good advice. Sounds like you are well on your way!

Re: want to replace a trigger

I went with the SSS Competition Trigger on all of my rifle builds.
They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Dont be afraid of the barrels you have. I have two of the A&B barrels that were made by Shaw and they shoot MOA with no problem. Just make sure your barrel and tang are free floated and you should be good to go. .260 was a good choice and I like the Boyds stocks. Cant beat them for the money.
