    80gr berger In a 1 in 9 twist

Fellas I have been shooting a 69gr nosler out of my 12vlp with good results out to 500yd but at 1k the wind is killing me with only about a 20% hit rate on a man size target. I would like to try the 80gr berger if I can get it to stabilize I was hoping sombody could save me the trouble if sombody knows it will not.
    thanks LF

What caliber? Will be fine in a 6mm, won't be in a 223.

Interesting.... I mainly shot 75 BTHP out of mine. I then changed to the barrel to a 1-7 twist for 90 grain VLD's. I know someone with a 1-9 twist on their .223...... might have to go play with it.....
