    Hole under the bolt...


    I have a hole underneath the bolt of my Savage Mark II .22LR pre E receiver purchased 2009. Is it normal? I just want to confirm before I call for any service.

    Looks like they are all the same. Mine is. Could allow any excess lube to come out of the bolt. Just looks like part of the machining process. Quick

    I have 3 Savage rifles, all mine are similar to yours. Nothing to worry about... ;D
