our local club hosted a team match against another club shooting 300 yds well even though our team lost my savages shined i shot my lrpv with shilen 308 barrel 1st round shot a 195 3x 2nd round shot a 196 8x then my son shot my tiger shark with a mcgowen 223 1st round 196 6x the a 190 3x not to bad still waiting on the result for individual results but i was told i placed either 1st or 2nd and son 4th or 5th.

at my home club cetral alabama gun club .they just put that gravel down not to long ago becuase we shoot prone of course and it is muddy right there when it rains i'm looking forward to our may match its a individual match and we will be shooting those and i get to break out my mod.110la in 6.5 creedmoor. the .223 will be getting broke down today even though it shoots 69gr smk's well i'm getting the throat legthened for 80gr. pills .we are pushing for a 500-600 yd range over on the other side of our 100 yd range but it so going.

If your barrel is a 9 twist don't bother lengthing the throat. You most likley will not be able to stabilize the 80SMK.
