At the risk of bringing up a prior discussion I'd like some opinions on scope power ranges. I already own a Sightron SIII 8x32x56 MOA, (which by the way is an awesome scope). I'm considering a second purchase for another build, 200-1000 (but likely under 800) yard gun, and I wondered what everyone thought about the 6x24 compared to the 8x32. I'm looking at the Sightron MOA again and the Vortex PST 6-24. I've never owned a Vortex.

8x32! when are you going to use 6x instead of 8x! not often will you go under 18x
