    Striker barrels

Are striker barrels the same configuration as small shank rifle barrels ??
IE can you mount a striker barrel on a rifle action.

I assume you can and it will function, just wanted to ask to make sure.

you will not end up with a legal rifle. the barrel will be to short. also the WSM strikers are large shank

16" and longer would be legal.

    Re: Striker barrels

Yes but they can be bought.

I prefer rifle barrels around 20" and a vendor here sells
stainless striker barrels up to 20" long for a lot less than rifle length.

That was the reason for the question.

    Thanks

yes, makes sense now. that is a great way to go. all my short barrel guns. 15-16" perform great. they are all handguns but performance is great when you know what to expect from them

    Re: Striker barrels

I am only a single 20" barrel and 20" will get me where I need to be.
