    Are Shilen barrels marked?

I just got my Shilen drop in barrel and it is not marked "Shilen" or marked with the Chamber. I'm a little disappointed. Do they marl there barrels?

Is the end of the barrel crowned? I just noticed that there is no crown on the barrel

I have 2 that are and one that's not. I will depend on who did the final chambering of the barrel as to if the markings are on it. Usually the markings are on the breech flat.

    My 300/221
(300blk/whisper/fireball/wtf) was engraved on the breech end as well.

What about the crowns? There is no bevel cut where the bullet leaves the muzzel. Does Shilen use a traditional crown?

I would call Shilen, and get the answer from them, They have many GREAT people working for them. Traditionaly Shilen uses a 11 degree crown. (Might as well call this industry standard.) There is nothing wrong with a flat or faced off crown, they work, I have a couple custom bench rest guns that have barrels like that. Again if you have questions about a product, why not just got to the source, instead of asking a bunch of people on a forum sight?

It appears that Shilen does not use a crown with the bevel at the end of the rifiling on their drop in bull barrels
