    C-More Slide Ride Sight

Was offered a brand new - still in the box C-More Slide Ride sight for an attractive price today.

I'd like to pick this up but I can't find a base/mount that will allow me to mount it on a picatinny rail.

Either I don't know how to look or there is no such animal!

I'd be willing to say it's the former.

Any help locating a base/mount appreciated.

    Thanks!

    According to C-More

Mounting - The Slide Ride attaches to any flat surface with two mounting bolts. This requires drilling and tapping two holes. When used with the Glock Adapter Plate, the plate is mounted to the slide by drilling and tapping,, then the sight is bolted to the plate.

So maybe an aftermarket? Must be one out there.

I'm seeing something called a "Railway" through C-More. The Railway is actually a different model sight from C-More with the Picatiny mount already installed. Maybe they sell it by itself?

Got an e-mail from C-More today and you can buy the base/mount they use on their Railway sight directly from the company.

Seems a little high to me @ ~$50.

But if I can get as good a deal (as I hope) on the sight itself (NIB), it may all work out in the end.

$50 actually seems fair for a mount like that.

    Re: C-More Slide Ride Sight

Ended up being $53.50 with shipping.

    I am not complaining.

I picked up the Slide Ride sight for $125, so I'm only out $178.50 for the whole set-up.

I reckon even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now & then.
