    New Stevens 200 Trigger question

    Hello to all,

I have tried to search for the answer before posting, but could not find any info so here it goes:

On my old Stevens to adjust the trigger, I simply adjusted the screw on the left side to the desired weight and was good. I picked up a 200 hundred today and it looks like they redesigned the trigger. The straight spring bar is gone. Does anyone have a suggestion for lightening the trigger, or should I just get a Timney or Rifle Basix inbound?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Matt

You might find some info on that trigger in the Axis forum. A rifle basics or timney would be an improvement but the SSS (SharpShooterSupply) trigger is the best. The trigger you have got is so new there have been few posts on this forum about it.

It sounds like you are going through what I did a few days ago.

From what I have gathered, the trigger you have is the non-accutrigger. It turns out that an accutrigger will fit there.

The SSS trigger is also said to fit there.
