Model 14 American Classic 250 Savage

I have just recentley purchased my first savage firearm, the model 14 in a 250 savage and boy what a sweet shooter she is. I am really impressed. Anyhow I have a question and figured this was the best place to come for the answer. I would like to buy an extra magazine to have just in case( i have a tendencey to loose things). I want a Savage factory replacement just like the one that came with the gun. Everywhere I look online in none of the descriptions do they list the 250 Savage with any of the model numbers. Does anyone know what model number the magazine I am looking for is and why they are not listing that caliber in the description? Thank you for your time and help it is appreciated!

If you could find one for a .22-250 it would probably be the same one. Welcome to the wonderful world of .250 Savages sweetest caliber going for sure.

MidwayUSA has mine on back order for the model 114. They also have the model 14 on back order but not showing the 250 Savage.

I own the same rifle. Its perfect for its intended role- Deer hunting. Light, balanced, accurate enough (.7 5 shot groups at 100yds), awesome at killing deer- I use a 100gr. SGK w/ H4895 right at 30000fps. Kills them good. Only issue I have w/ it is that if I use my climber not a ladder stand, I sometimes can scratch up the stock and its too pretty to do that

    That's why you use a pull-up rope

Savage sells them under their "Magazines" label on the parts store. https://store.savagearms.com/magazin...magazines.html

I prefer to shoot deer vs use a rope, but that sounds challenging:)

30000fps! Holy velocity Batman! And I know what you mean about the stock being too pretty. I have one of the classic stocks I put on my .270 build. Luckily, mine is in the oil finish so a little tru oil touch up makes the scratches go away.
