OH! You mean this is not like twitter ??? All kidding aside, just wanted to emphasize my point that one does not have to accept a roughly machined barrel from the factory. Or expound that Savage barrels are all necessarily copper collectors, as the first responses to my original post stated.
Maybe not quite related, but I did some digging and Savage does have a Sunnen hone. They use it for the shotgun barrels.
