    Re: first double!!

the pair was heading to me at 500 yrds. i rolled onto my belly and was watching them come in. they got to about 350yrds. when one of them spotted me, they stopped and stared a bit at me and couldn't figure out what i was. i layed still and they countinued coming in. they again stopped at 250 and looked like they were going to drop into a deep ditch along the feild. i took the one the right which was closest to the ditch first at 250, he dropped. the other one( female) took off running into the open clear cut bean feild and got droped at around 325 on the run!

Wow! Nice shooting. I wish I could go coyote hunting. Just not around at home during the winter when NJ has its season.

if you hit them where you are supposed to they work great! if not they will leave a pretty good hole. but i guess you will have that with any bullet really. i have hit them perfectly broadside as close as 150 yrds. with no exit.

    Re: first double!!

A few years back, I was shooting pdogs in SD. Standing in a gully with the gun on the ground with a bipod.

I looked through the scope and there was a yote. When I shot I lost the scope and when I looked again he was still there.

Shot again and he bit at his flank like a bee stung him and I dropped him with the 3rd shot. When I walked over 225 yards there were 2 yotes layin. So my first yote was a double.

Johnny Boy (RIP) was astounded and had to buy me dinner.
