    Re: cosign indicator

I used to think these were a good idea, then they came out with the laser range finders that do the the true ballistic range, and all of a sudden these became obsolete. Maybe if you were using mildots for ranging these would still be a good idea.

A good backup if your electronics fail.

Also you don't have to get out of the shooting position to read it or to calculate the adjustments if you have the formula memorized and can do the math in your head.

Wanted one for a while to put on an airgun. Found cheap bubble levels, but can't find any cheaper cosine indicators.

Botactical has the best price on the Sniper Tool Angle/Cosine Indicatior (ACI) at $144.

This model is the Milspec version which is the top of the line and waterproof.

I recently installed one of the above ACI's on my 300 WSM long range coyote/critter gitter and it is a handy and quality piece. It is the Sniper Tool ACI with the Badger Type I mount. Even comes in a box with the military NSN's and nomenclature as these are the ACI's used my most branches of the military.
