    200 gr in a 30.06?

    Hi guys,
Just wondering if any of you had used 200gr accubonds in a 30.06? If so, how did you do with them? I have a box of these and, though I usually go with 180's, was thinking about loading some up. Any info/advice would be appreciated. I use H4350 powder.
    Thanks,
    John.

Never used 200gr. AB,s in my savage 110. Have used SGK,s and nosler PT,s. Accuracy was very good in my rifle with either bullet. I do love the heavy weights in the 06. They penetrate like crazy on Elk. I always use IMR-4831 powder for a velocity just a bit over 2600. I would think H4350 would be a superb choice as well.

    Hi Hub,
Thanks for that. I do like 180's in a 30.06, and I'm sure the 200's will be fine. I've never used accubonds, but they seem to have a good following. I have used SKG's in 180's, and they were very good. I guess I will be loading the 200 AB's now, and see how they work. I have a Savage American Classic which I haven't fired yet, but it sure looks nice.
    Thanks,
    John
