Safety stuck

I was shooting my Striker today and the safety became stuck in fire. Upon closing the bolt after this the gun would fire upon closing. Took it home and removed a black piece of stuff/foriegn object from safety area. The safety will now work only when the bolt is open. When the bolt is closed the safety will not work. I am concerned with the firing upon closing which has stopped after cleaning, but I am not sure if something broke inside or not. My other Striker still allows the safety to be placed on when the bolt is closed. I also took off the trigger arms the other day to install a single shot follower. Not sure if this is related or not because I fired 40 rounds before the safety stuck.

Any ideas??

Never mind. Fixed it. It was the wire that runs back to the rear of the trigger. I think I torqued it a bit taking the trigger off the other day. Bent it back to put pressure on the trigger and adjusted the nut in the front. No slam fires and safety works. Thanks.
