    First rebarrel question?

When installing the new barrel, do I need to remove the firing pin and ejector from the bolt? Or is it just "more accurate" of a way to headspace? Thanks guys.

I have never removed either one. Dont see any reasons why. Put the guages in the chamber and close the bolt, the extractor should snap over the rim on the guage. Just dont pull the trigger if the guage doesnt have a relief hole for the firing pin.

If the bolt extracts the gauge your good to go.

Sounds great guys, I was doing it with everything still installed, but I was doing some more reading and came across where they say to remove it. I'm hopefully going to get it all installed and tight tonight, and just wanted a little more reassurance, that what I was doing was correct.
