There are only two screws to remove the action from the stock; the front screw and the one at the back of the trigger guard. The middle one at the front of the guard simply holds it in place. The trigger assembly is a bit more complicated but there is no reason to remove it unless replacing the trigger. About once a year I will remove the barreled action from the stock to make sure all the metal gets a good wipe down with oil or some other preservative.
