Best bet is to take a large round file and open the slot then use an oil made for wood and reseal the bare wood. It would take heat to cherry red to bend the bolt handle. Any good gunsmith can do that. Not a home project.

Clear that bolt handle; if its binding on the wood it may be messing things up inside....get the wood phile out

    What's the number for 911?!
"An armed society is a polite society"
"...shall not be infringed" What's the confusion?
