Savage Striker 516 plastic stock removal

So, I feel like a god damn retard so bash away if you have to, but for the life of me I cannot get the stock off of my new to me Savage Striker. It is a model 516 with a tupperware stock. I can visibly see and remove the front action screw. The rear action screw threads can be seen from inside the action but for the life of me I cannot find the head. Thank you in advance for your help.

Remove the rear sling eye-bolt by unscrewing it. Then the plastic cover on the bottom of the pistol grip will come off. You will then will see the final screw that is holding the stock on.

they did not come with rear sling bolts just a screw.

It is inside the rear grip under the cap...
