Are you referring to stocks from XLR Industries, or McRee?
Mods - I couldn't decide where this should go so feel free to move it where you think appropiate.
I've build about as many bolt actions as I could, now I need a little more of a challange, so I'm thinking of using a Savage Action, long or short I don't know at the moment, and I was thinking of building one as a tube gun. Have any of you done so? If so, can you give me some hints or ideas? Thanks....

They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
Looking them up either would be fine. Any thoughts?
I haven't personally owned either of them. However, there are plenty of reviews on this site. I like the looks of the XLR stock myself.

I built something similar using the XLR chassis and a SA in .308. The link below is my next build a true tube gun; using a target action, palma contour barrell, etc. (S1 chassis) it will be a single shot though.

If he is asking about a true tube gun then I don't I have seen one on here yet. I looked into doing one about 5 years ago but with the kit running $1k it started adding up real quick. I have seen some barrel block guns and of course the XLR chassis but no true tube guns.
More shooting, less typing.
click on the link I posted no wood /plastic ;there's about 3 pages on a build with a savage target action.....a real good read!

True tube guns have a sleeved action, not just a free float tube that shrouds the barrel like an AR.
