Recoil Pad

I have an SSS stock, LVT, and would like to put a better recoil pad on it. Any suggestions? Is there one that would require less or no shaping?

I've used the "Limbsaver" on a number of builds and like the way it soaks up recoil. Check Brownell's, they list quite a few brands that would work well. Any pad made from Sorbethane (sp?) is soft and eases recoil on hard kicking calibers.

There are prefitted pads made but they are usually for specific factory stocks.
