After rebarreling a 10FP from .308 to 6.5 Creedmore for a customer, I ended up with the .308 barrel from the 10FP. According to the customer (and from the looks of the bore scope) it has a very low round count.
So here is what I got to thinking. It looks as though it could be rechambered to .300 WSM. From the specs I have looked up, the WSM will give 2850fps with a 210 VLD. I have a Stevens 200 short action that I was going to use for another project, but the .300 WSM thing has really got me thinking.
So what do you all think of this idea?
