Anyone offer fluted pre-fits?

Tried a search, sorry is i missed something obvious.

I know that some companies will flute a blank, does anyone offer a "drop in" that is already fluted?

Criterion, Benchmark, ER Shaw, Pac-Nor, to name a few more. You can get a Rock Creek form Sin Arms on here fluted as a pre fit and a Brux with interrupted flutes from him as well I believe. Or you can get any fluted blank you want such as a Krieger or Broughton and have someone turn it to a prefit.

Thanks for the replies, where do you find the chambered, fluted barrels listed as stock items? All I've ben able to find is that they offer it as an option.

I dont think your going to find any listed aa "stock" items. A fluted barrel would have to be special ordered.

Believe it or not, Adams & Bennett (of Midway USA) used to offer fluted stainless prefits, years ago. They were very nice for the price. I got one of their last ones, a .243, on clearance sale. I wish they still offered these, as mine turned out to be a shooter.

I too wish someone would start offering fluted prefits without having to special order, especially in a higher end barrel like Criterion or Shilen. Surely they would sell!??!

Check to see if jim has something fluted in stock.

I'm pretty sure shilen won't flute and if you have someone do it that will void their warranty

They have some awesome designs, but I would rather have the manufacturer flute my barrel.

I talked to CBI directly and they only offer straight fluting, either 6 or 8 flutes depending on the contour.
