Question for those who have done CDI bottom metal on their 300WM

I am thinking of going the CDI bottom metal route with my 300WM but have a question for those who use the AI mags. What COAL do the AI mags permit? Is it pretty much same as savage factory mags or do I get some additional room to seat the pills out longer for the perfect lead to land formula?
    Thanks

Good questions. I was going to do this on my .223 this past summer….but did not get around to it. Then "stuff" came up, then hunting….now Christmas, then post Christmas flintlock season…..I'm thinking spring. But I'd like to hear answers to the OP's ???

I've been using alpha industries mfg magazines in my CDI for their longer COAL than AI in my 260. They list their 300WM mag at 3.630" if that helps you at all.
