    Savage Action

I need some help to identify an action I bought it is marked on the original box 18539 Varmint ACT 22-250 A. It is complete with an Accutrigger and bottom metal, including the Detachable box magazine. What series of rifle did Savage use these on?
    Thanks

When I look it up, it doesn't show it with a dbm or any bottom metal, just a trigger guard. Savage does make a VLP with the dbm, so that would be my guess.

Blue or stainless? Is the blade on the trigger red?sounds like a model 12 to me.

Non-Designated action if it doesn't have a model on it. What did you register it as?
