    New Savage 9.3x62

I saw this on a different forum. Model 111, orange camo accustock, fiber optic sights, 20" barrel w/removable magazine. Have any of you guys seen one of these? I cant find it on the savage website.

I would assume if it is new, it was a specialty run for a particular dealer/distributor.
That is an old cartridge made by for hunting African game around 1900. It is 1 mm shorter than a 30-06, which makes sense as it was made for a Mauser action.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

What does the sticker on the buttstock say? I looks like there is no bolt release on the receiver. Is that one just forward of the trigger guard? The bottom metal seems to be longer than the action so what length is the magazine?

Looks like the accutrigger sticker to me.

"...shall not be infringed" What's the confusion?

Here is what the owner of said Savage 9.3 found out about his rifle.

Okay talked to Savage today and got the story.
    300 each were made in a 8mm and 9.3.
All were intended for export. Somehow the shop I bought mine from got 3 9.3s.
It arrived today and it is cool. The barrel weight is like a 375 H&H, 20", center feed detachable magazine. As I mentioned Miox is now making binocs in the pattern. I'' be contacting (bugging) them to get a scope the same
