No problem with the mess, its what I do best. Good looking rig, should be a winner. Good luck.

From a 10FP, I added a CBI barrel in 6.5 Creedmore, with a match recoil lug. The stock is from Stockys. Breaking in took all of 20 rounds. I tested 2 bullets, a 140 A-Max and 142 Sierra in front of 41.6 grs of H 4350. Both shot 1/2 moa. After 30 rounds, no fouling to speak of, and no copper.
The pics were taken in a hurry, so excuse the mess

Carpet,
What is the diameter of that barrel? Does it have any taper?
Thanks,
John
No copper fouling..............oh some day. I hate copper fouling. Nice rig. Did you bed the stock?
do you like your stock i have 2 of them on savage target actions one is green the other tan. the 440 spacing works for them. if i had it do do over again i would use the bobby hart that stockys carries now.

First, the barrel is a varmint taper from Jim Briggs, the stock has a bedding block in it. As usual, didn,t fit very well around the recoil lug, so I skim bedded it. I was going to drive to the first match at Roswell, NM today to break it in. Weather said 20mph winds. In Roswell, that is inside the target building. Needless to say, the day was perfect.
Oh well!!
