    Scope alignment issue

I just tried to sight in my new 223 which sports a Swarovski 8x24 scope. No matter what I do, I can't get enough adjustment to the right. I am maxed out and still about 1/4" from the center of the target.

Any suggestions? I have a Nightforce pictanny rail with NF rings, thought I was getting the best of everything!

You'll probably have to switch to the Burris Signature rings and line the scope up with the inserts.

On another thread, it was mentioned that the screws holding the rail may not have been centered in the holes of the rail, check that.

There has also been discussion of some models not having the scope mount holes not drilled square.

Millet Angle Lock rings will solve this.

It's very common for a Savage action to be warped, they heat treat the action, after they drill the mounting holes. It has become an acceptable condition. It does'nt take much to throw it off that much. Your best bet is the Burris signature Z rings, as previously mentioned.

they can also put a lot of twist on a scope tube if not careful.
