    prairie dog targets

I am going to go on my first prairie dog shoot this year and I want to make some prairie dog targets to practice with before I go. I have found out how tall they are, but I am wondering how wide on average a prairie dog is. I'm guessing about 4 inches, but If there is anyone who can give me a more accurate size that would be great. thanks in advance.

thanks for the link.. I found some steel that I am going to use to cut out some targets from so I am hoping to find something closer to actuall size. well at least my printer doesn't print them life size. thanks for the link I am going to use those also.

I am mainly trying to find out how wide I should make them

What I do to practice is fill pop bottles with water and place em all over at random distances. There pretty close to actual size.
