Can a long action staggered feed action be converted to a center feed magazine? If so what would be required to make the swap?

If you are speaking of stock modifications...yes. The stock will need to be shimmed to hold the magazine in place. The CF mags are largly secured by firiction as in snug fit. You will need to mill or dremel out the "L" braket slot in the rear if you use it. If you are talking about using a DBM or Trap door, I am 98.7% certain there would be no issues but have not done it..
