scope for 223

I really hate to ask this question but…. I inherited a Remington 700 bolt 223 (scopeless). Not and can’t put a lot of money on glass, so looking for something to go on this rifle. I was given some dies and will work up a load and I do not intend or want to pull a scope off of one of my hunting rifles.

Might want to use it to shoot coyotes and range will definitely be under 300 yards. I do know you get what you pay for and I hate to buy cheap glass, but need to try something in the low-end range for this.

Any suggestions…?
