    edge stock

I read Bob's thread and was impressed and inspired think i will try the same but with oak, I have a slab that will do fine, might be on the heavy side but I like a heavy gun so if it works out it should be pretty neat

Can't wait to see it. Get a .1875 router bit for the recoil lug, and you will be fine. Feel free to PM if you have any questions

Looks like Bob's thread has stirred many including myself. I'm going to cheat by using a Boyd's stock and go from there but still will be interested to see what you do the Oak. Keep us posted

    Re: edge stock

Finally got time to start on that slab of oak, got the ruff cuts done and got some pics I will post them as soon as I can, got some surface cracks I am having to glue and clamp but so far so good. I plan on taking my time with it, thanks for the router bit size that is one less measurement I have to make
