    removing centerfeed mag

I have a new Stevens 25-06, LA centerfeed action and want to change over to a staggerfeed wood stock. How do you remove the centerfeed mag from the tupperware stock? Thanks.

Grab it and pull. It really is that simple. Don't lose the little "L-clip" that wedges it in place.

I used a pair of smooth jawed pliers to get a better grip.

I used a pair of pliers on the front and a long handled standard screwdriver at the rear to gently lift and pry the mag out. after removing it the first time I am able to just use a screw driver at the rear and it pops right out with ease.
