    caliber changing.


    I have a savage model 12 gbtv 22-250. If I wanted to change the caliber would just changing the barrel be all I would have to do.

    As long as the caliber you want to change to is a .473 bolt head. (308/30-06 family of cartridges). Otherwise, you would have to change the bolt head.
